In an Emergency: Call 911 if it is an immediate life threatening situation or go immediately to an emergency room.
Otherwise, you may call the office first if the emergency arises on the weekdays from 8am to 5 PM. For after hours, I may usually be reached by calling 937-339-1771. That number will reach a recording and give you instructions. When you leave a message at that number, I will be notified shortly through my cell phone, and I will try to return a call within 10 minutes or so.
However, as I do not give out my home or cell phone number, I will call you back with my number blocked. Many people have made their phone number unable to be called when I block my number...(some people don't even know they have done so.) That may delay or make it impossible for me to call you back. **
Since everything electronic, especially cell
phones, fail to work occasionally, please do not hesitate to call again after a
few minutes.
If for some reason, you can not reach me, the number for the crisis line is:
937-335-7148 or
1-800-351-7347. You may also go to Dettmer Hospital on the campus of Upper
Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio, directly to talk to
a professional. Of course, any hospital emergency room may also be of assistance in
an emergency.
**To
find out if your phone blocks such calls, call your number from another phone.
Dial #67, then the phone number.
