Chose from one of the topics below to learn more about areas of interest, and the counseling process:

Relationship and Marriage Counseling (updated September 2005)

Parenting: Logical and Natural Consequences  This will link you to a brief parenting training module.  This concept iis one of my favorites. Learning this, you get out of the position of being the "bad guy."   Instead you place the responsibility back on the child.  And if you click on the home link at the bottom of one of the pages, this will take you to an index of several other parenting training modules.  It is part of a foster parenting program in Washington State.

IEP's, Understanding Your Rights
This is a link to a very extensive website helping you become a better advocate for your child, understanding what testing means, and your rights for your child. An IEP is an Individualized Educational Plan  for your child when your child has special needs in school. This link is for the serious parent who wants to really get an education to help your child's education.

And we will be continually adding new information.
